There are many treatment options available to people living with HIV. People living with HIV can get and keep an undetectable viral load by taking HIV medicine (called antiretroviral therapy or ART) exactly as prescribed. It is important to know what's in your HIV medication as well as all your treatment options to understand how they can affect your day-to-day life, or your body over the long term.

  • To enhance tolerability and/or decrease short- or long-term toxicity
  • To prevent or mitigate drug-drug interactions
